New League Executive Committee

Three new members of the League Executive Committee were selected by members at the annual conference last week in Oro Valley.

Queen Creek Mayor Gail Barney and Oro Valley Mayor Satish Hiremath, were selected to serve two-year terms. Flagstaff Mayor Coral Evans was selected to serve the fulfillment of a one-year term.

Chandler Mayor Jay Tibshraeny will serve out his second year as president, with Lake Havasu City Mayor Mark Nexsen serving his second year as vice president and Maricopa Mayor Christian Price will serve his second year as treasurer.

The following officials were elected to two-year terms on the Executive Committee:

The League is governed by a 25-member Executive Committee made up of mayors and councilmembers from incorporated cities and towns across the state. Officers and members of the Executive Committee are elected for two-year overlapping terms.
