
New League Executive Committee
Members of the League of Arizona Cities and Towns selected new leaders of its governing board during the Annual Business Meeting.
Cathy Carlat, Mayor of Peoria, was elected President of the League of Arizona Cities and Towns.
Yuma Mayor Douglas Nicholls was elected Vice President and Prescott Mayor Greg Mengarelli was elected Treasurer.
Newly-elected to serve on the League Executive Committee is Kate Gallego, Mayor, Phoenix.
The following officials were re-elected to the Executive Committee to serve two-year terms:

Doug Von Gausig, Mayor, Clarkdale
Coral Evans, Mayor, Flagstaff
Jerry Weiers, Mayor, Glendale
Christian Price, Mayor, Maricopa
W.J. “Jim” Lane, Mayor, Scottsdale
Anna Tovar, Mayor, Tolleson
Regina Romero, Mayor, Tucson
Georgia Lord, Mayor, Goodyear
Officers and members of the Executive Committee are elected for two-year overlapping terms. The following officials are currently serving terms on the Executive Committee which expire in August 2021:

Three additional seats are set to be filled at a later date. The League is governed by a 25-member Executive Committee made up of mayors and councilmembers from incorporated cities and towns across the state. Officers and members of the Executive Committee are elected for two-year overlapping terms.
