Creating a Stronger and Brighter Future Together

The Arizona We Want Progress Meters equip state and community leaders with data essential for decision making.

Join the Center for the Future of Arizona (CFA) on October 22 for this annual session highlighting The Arizona We Want, a shared vision of success around what matters most to Arizonans. As part of the featured program, attendees will learn about the latest updates that CFA has made to its progress meters portfolio including a first look at the data from its Young Talent Progress Meter rolling out this fall.

Decision making is becoming more complex in our rapidly changing world. Reliance on data combined with the engagement and input from the voices of all Arizonans is more important than ever to creating the Arizona we all want.

During this 1.5 hour session, CFA and an array of diverse speakers representing communities from across Arizona will share examples of how data sources, including The Arizona We Want Progress Meters, are being used to frame issues, guide decisions and monitor progress within different communities and regions of our state.

Earlier this year, CFA significantly expanded the breadth of information available in the progress meters portfolio by adding more than 144,000 data points, accompanying visualizations, and newly developed Data Profile reports featuring demographic data for Arizona and all 15 of its counties. Progress meters measure how Arizona is doing in the areas of Jobs, Education, Young Talent, Health & Well-being, Natural Resources, Infrastructure, Civic Participation and Connected Communities.
