League Honors Newest Life Member

Congratulations to the newest League Life Member, Jay Tibshraeny!

Mayor Tibshraeny was recognized for his many years of service to the City of Chandler and the League of Arizona Cities and Towns. Mayor Tibshraeny served as mayor and councilmember in the City of Chandler and was also a longtime member of the League Executive Committee, where his service culminated recently with a successful tenure as president.

Mayor Tibshraeny originally served on the League Executive Committee in 2001 prior to being elected to the state legislature. Following his tenure in state elected office he returned to City and rejoined the Executive Committee in 2011 – 2018, serving as treasurer and vice president prior to assuming office of the president in 2016. He served on the Chandler City Council as a councilmember for eight years and as Mayor for 16 years.
