Through this unique partnership, employees may pursue graduate degrees from NAU and take advantage of a 10% tuition reduction.

Graduate programs across the state

NAU students are achieving their goals for personal and professional success across the state. Students have choices at NAU — what to study and where to study. NAU offers undergraduate and graduate programs at more than 20 locations.

  • Flagstaff — Study in Arizona’s best college town, home to NAU Athletics and views of the San Francisco Peaks.
  • Statewide — Earn your bachelor’s or graduate degree at a convenient statewide location, close to home or work.
  • Online — Choose among high-demand majors and complete your degree online.

Popular master’s degrees for city and government employees are communication, organizational leadership, professional writing and public administration. Cohort delivery options are available for discussion.

  • Communication, Master of Arts — Advance your skills in communication analysis, critical thinking, problem-solving and more. How to partner with NAU

Make the 10% graduate tuition discount available to your employees
If your city, town or organization is not currently a partner, the process is simple. A representative from human resources should contact Doug Small, Director of Educational Partnerships, at Douglas.Small@nau.edu to get started.

Host a sponsored cohort program
If your organization has a group of employees who are interested in a particular degree program, NAU is excited to collaborate and offer on-site programs. An on-site cohort provides added convenience for employees by eliminating travel between work and school. NAU has partnered with the City of Tucson, and police departments in Peoria, Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe to offer on-site master’s degrees to help employees advance their careers. If you’re interested in exploring cohort programs at your place of employment, please contact Doug Small, Director of Educational Partnerships, at Douglas.Small@nau.edu.

How to get started on your degree
If you’re ready to apply to be a student at NAU, take the first step: visit our Admissions website at nau.edu/admissions, call Admissions at 888-628-2968, or send an email to admissions@nau.edu.

If you’re applying for a graduate program and want to benefit from the 10% employee reduction, remember to contact your employer for the tuition reduction form, which must be verified by human resources then submitted to NAU before the tuition payment deadline.
