Broadband 101: The Basics of Broadband for Arizona’s Rural Communities, what is Currently in Place and What the Future holds for Broadband in Arizona

Part 1: Basics and Definitions
The first part will cover the basics of broadband, defining terms including: broadband, middle mile, last mile, wire, fiber etc.
Part 2: Middle Mile and State Program
The second part of the session will explore what is currently in place regarding Broadband in Arizona, what programs the state has in place to assist in rural broadband development and how cities can utilize the current tools and grants the state has for their broadband needs.
Part 3: Last Mile and Rural Arizona
Part three will explore what issues and challenges rural Arizona is having with broadband, why it is so important to the economic development and viability of the future of our rural communities, and possible solutions and strategies needed to ensure a viable future for broadband in rural Arizona.
Part 4: Panel Discussion with Group Regarding Real World Broadband and Panels Experience
The last section will be a Q and A with the panel
