Don’t forget to apply for the 2020 All-America City Award!

The application deadline is February 19, 2020.

In June 2020, the National Civic League will recognize 10 communities as All-America Cities for enhancing health and well-being through civic engagement.

The program celebrates innovation and excellence in a range of American communities – from villages, small towns and tribes to cities, counties and regions. The smallest towns and largest cities compete on equal footing – judged on the impact of their work and excellence of their engagement, not reputation or size. Leaders from local government, nonprofits, libraries, and youth have all led their communities to apply.

The 2020 All-America City Award is focused on celebrating examples of civic engagement practices that enhance health and well-being in local communities.

Over 500 communities have been named an All-America City since the program began in 1949, including 9 from Arizona. We know there is great working happening in Arizona and would like to see even more towns, cities and counties from Arizona join the All-America City ranks.
