Arizona Local Leaders Attend NLC Conference in Washington, D.C.

US Senator Jeff Flake meets with Arizona leaders during the National League of Cities Congressional City Conference

More than 115 Arizona delegates attended the National League of Cities Congressional City Conference in Washington, D.C. earlier this month. This year’s conference theme, "Rebuild With Us," reflects NLC's campaign to partner with the federal government to rebuild and reimagine America's infrastructure. Senator Jeff Flake met with many of the group on Wednesday morning at the Russell Senate Office Building. While Senator John McCain was recuperating from cancer treatment in Arizona, several of his policy advisers were also on hand to meet with the Arizona delegation.
