The League remembers our former long-time director Jack DeBolske who passed away in July at the age of 89. Jack was the Executive Director of the League of Arizona Cities and Towns for 40 years.
During the summer months, the League’s legislative staff has traveled the state to report on activities of the legislative session that have an impact on cities and towns.
On July 7, the Attorney General issued an opinion responding to the question of whether the state’s public records law applies to messages that were sent or received on a private cell phone or electronic device.
The League has a variety of opportunities, trainings and upcoming events that may be of interest in the coming months.
What were cities and towns celebrating this time last year? Five years ago? 50 years ago? Take a look into the past at some of our city and town stories from years gone by in the City & Town Throwback!
Congratulations to the City of Avondale for being recognized as a 2017 All-America City!
